Our Stars!

Annually SASHE, LLC asks its community of over 2,000 women to nominate Stars for our  “Best Company for Women” and the “Best Nonprofits for Women” list.  Nomination are also accepted outside our community by completing an online nomination form.  Nominated companies are screened by SASHE representatives to determine how they support, develop and advance women.

 

 

 

How Companies Are Nominated:

Companies are nominated by our SASHE Community of over 2,000 women as a companies that supports, develops and advance women. Companies reach distinction based on criteria such as developmental support, work environment, and career opportunities.

How Companies Make The List:

Once a company/Nonprofit is nominated, our team researches each nominee to learn more about how they support, develop and advance women.  This research includes but not limited to: Reviewing the company mission, vision and values, third party recommendation sites, company history, benefit packages, workplace culture, developmental programs and community reputation.  This helps us narrow the list to the Top 10.

How We Celebrate The Power of Women:

On awards night, everyone is a VIP! SASHE encourages companies to bring women from their organization and/or community to the Red-Tie Gala.  Together we recognize women’s contributions, share best practices, and build a network.  Most importantly, we reward women with red carpet, VIP treatment.  We also invite selected company executives to share how they support, develop and advance women in their organizations.

How We Recognize The Best Companies for Women:

In addition to spreading this Top Ten list across several media outlets, SASHE, LLC recognizes companies and nonprofits with our Star Award at the Annual Red-Tie Awards & Gala.  We also adopt a “Featured Nonprofit” to donate a portion of the event’s proceeds.
